About the Volkswagen Scirocco

The Volkswagen Scirocco has been around since 1973 when it debuted as the successor of the Beetle-based Karmann-Ghia. The first generation was produced until 1981, and the second generation followed suit until 1992. After a lengthy break, VW reintroduced the Scirocco in 2008, this time based on the same platform as the Golf.
